Sue Blagburn of BWA Design & Print has proved that, with modern technology, one can work in a rural environment and still deliver high quality brochures, catalogues and packaging as speedily as if in the centre of London. Several years ago Sue turned a redundant farm building into a studio for her graphic design business. She also made a substantial investment in IT equipment, enabling her to produce and send computer-generated, print-ready artwork directly to printers anywhere in the UK.

Sue's hard work was acknowledged when she received the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative, Better Business Through IT Solutions Award, at the Bank of England, London. And as part of the initiative for rural area business development, she was awarded grant funding from both the South West Regional Development Agency and North Dorset District Council.
